Pep Guardiola will never be sacked by Bayern Munich, according to the club’s President, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Rummenigge told the German Press that if Guardiola ever leaves Bavaria it will be of his own volition and not because the club has forced him out.
Guardiola said in the week that if he doesn’t get results, he expects Bayern to replace him with a new Coach but Rummenigge denied that would happen.
“Bayern will never sack Guardiola, I can put that in writing today,” Sport reports Rumennigge as telling Welt am Sonntag.
“He will be our Coach until at least June 30 2016, the end of his contract.”
