Bojan Krkic has revealed the reasons why he decided to leave Barcelona and sign for Stoke City.
The Masia graduate has swapped Camp Nou for the Britannia Stadium this summer after completing a move earlier this week.
And the 23-year-old, who has spent the last three seasons on loan away from the Blaugrana, has claimed that Mark Hughes sold him the idea of playing in the Premier League.
“I saw that the idea here is to get the ball down and play good football,” he told the club’s official website.
“There are many good players here that want to play with the ball at their feet. I think that will suit the way that I like to play.
“I don't know what I can add to the team but I know what I am capable of on the pitch.
“I like to get the ball on the ground, make good plays and move the ball around the pitch quickly at a good tempo. I like to build good relationships with other players, too, which is important.”
