Luis Suarez’s appeal against his fourth month ban from all football for biting will be heard next month.
Sport reports the Court of Arbitration for Sport will hear the Barcelona forward’s appeal in the second week of August.
Suarez was banned for four months for biting Giorgio Chiellini and Barca haven’t been allowed to present the Uruguay international after signing him from Liverpool.
He isn’t allowed to train with his new club either, and has a further eight games to sit out for his country.
Suarez and Uruguay have already had one appeal against the sanction heard and rejected by FIFA.
Sport add that it’s not clear if Suarez has had a medical for his move to Camp Nou, and it’s not thought that Barca have registered the move with FIFA in an effort to avoid a confrontation over the issue with the governing body.
