Luka Modric has said he wants to help Real Madrid win every available competition this season with the club competing on six fronts.
Modric told an interview with Marca that it’s time for Madrid to return to continued success and build on victory in last season’s Champions League and Copa del Rey.
Madrid will fight it out for the European Super Cup, against Sevilla, Supercopa, against Atletico Madrid, and the Club World Cup, as well as the League, and defending the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.
“There’s not as much pressure as before we won La Decima,” Modric is quoted as saying.
“It would be wonderful to win six titles. It’s our time.
“There is no better way to honour [the late Alfredo Di Stefano] than to keep his winning philosophy.”
Modric also predicted the signings of Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez will make Madrid a better team than they were last season.
