James Rodriguez has been officially presented as a Real Madrid player in front of thousands of fans at Santiago Bernabeu.
After his medical this morning, the Colombia international was confirmed as Los Blancos’ latest acquisition in a statement this afternoon.
The 23-year-old joins the European champions on a six-year deal, with Carlo Ancelotti’s men rumoured to be paying Monaco around €80m.
“I'm happy to be here, it's a dream come true,” he briefly told reporters.
“I hope to give a lot of joy, and I hope to win many titles here. Hala Madrid!”
James will wear the No.10 jersey last worn by Mesut Ozil.
