James Rodriguez will be presented tomorrow by Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain, as his move from Monaco gets closer.
AS say James is already in Madrid and is effectively a Madrid player, barring an official announcement from the club.
A fee of €80m is said to have been agreed between the clubs and James will take the No.10 shirt, vacated a year ago when Mesut Ozil moved to Arsenal.
It’s still not been decided if Monaco will receive a Madrid player as part of the deal – the Ligue 1 club would like Diego Lopez but the goalkeeper is less keen.
James was supposed to travel to France to speak with his club but instead went to Portugal to meet with his agent, Jorge Mendes, before travelling to Madrid today.
