Atletico Madrid are said to be negotiating with Chelsea over a return move for former captain Fernando Torres.
AS cite claims from Eurosport that allege Miguel Angel Gil Marin is in London to speak with the Blues’ decision-makers about a fee for Torres.
It’s thought that Chelsea want €16m for Torres but Atletico would like the price tag lowered.
Torres left Vicente Calderon for Liverpool in 2007 and moved to Chelsea in January 2011. He scored 91 goals in 244 games for Atleti, going on to score 81 in 142 for the Reds and, to date, has 45 in 172 for Chelsea.
Gil Marin is to return to Spain shortly and AS insist there is no chance of a part-exchange deal amid gossip from England that Chelsea want Miranda.
Chelsea have this summer already signed Diego Costa and Filipe Luis from Atletico.
