Liverpool in fresh Isco link

Isco continues to be linked with a move from Real Madrid to Liverpool, just a year after his arrival in the capital.

The playmaker signed for Los Blancos last summer from Malaga, but found playing time relatively hard to come by under Carlo Ancelotti.

The European champion’s early switch to 4-3-3 curtailed the youngster chances of a regular place in the XI – and had to settle for minutes off the bench.

As such, several outlets in the British Press, including Goal.com and the Daily Express, believe that Brendan Rodgers’ is targeting the 22-year-old as he looks to recover from the loss of Luis Suarez.

The Premier League outfit have €80m plus to spend on new players after selling the Uruguay international to Barcelona, and want to spend some of that on Isco.

The Spain Under-21 international though, is keen to stay at Real Madrid and fight for a place in the team.
