Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed he knew Cesc Fabregas wanted to quit Barcelona for the Blues after only a brief conversation.
Sport reports Mourinho as saying that Cesc knew Arsenal weren’t likely to come in for him and since that was the case, Chelsea were an easy sell.
“I talked to him for 20 minutes. And I saw he really wanted to come to Chelsea,” Mourinho said.
“As you know, Arsenal had an option and could have interfered with our move but I know Cesc was not open to that option.
“I saw that he was very much looking in our direction so it was an easy job for me.”
