Atletico Madrid stand to receive a six-figure sum when Alvaro Morata completes his move to Juventus from Real Madrid.
AS has reported Atletico will receive €100,000 under FIFA’s rules on solidarity payments for clubs who had a hand in developing players.
Morata was at Atletico between the ages of 12 and 13 and therefore Los Colchoneros qualify for a small percentage of the transfer fee, which on Morata’s €20m price tag equates to €100,000.
