Toni Kroos has said at his presentation as a Real Madrid player that he is the right man to help the club win trophies as he knows what it takes.
Marca reports that Kroos, Madrid’s first summer signing, will wear No. 8 and began the Press conference by paying tribute to the late Alfredo Di Stefano.
“I want to express sadness at the death of Di Stefano,” he said.
“I want to thank Madrid for giving me this opportunity, the chance to play for this club, the most important in the world.
“I also want to thank Bayern Munich for allowing me to make the move to Madrid.
“I know how important it is for Madrid to win titles and I’m the right man for this.”
Kroos has completed a medical and this afternoon put pen-to-paper on his six-year contract.
