Jan Oblak insists he feels no pressure upon moving to Atletico Madrid despite becoming the most expensive goalkeeper in League history.
Reports have said Atletico have paid Benfica somewhere in the region of €16m for the 21-year-old but Oblak has said he isn’t concerned by the figures been bandied around.
“I don’t feel pressure despite being the most expensive goalkeeper in League history,” AS reports Oblak as saying after he completed his medical.
“Despite not having a lot of experience I think I’m qualified to defend the Atletico goal.
“I’m happy to be here. I know Atletico are a very good team, and I know the Coach and several players.”
Oblak is Atletico’s second goalkeeping signing of the summer after Miguel Angel Moya was bought from Getafe.
