Deulofeu ‘to learn from Barca strikers’

Gerard Deulofeu has acknowledged the competition he faces to get in the Barcelona side but wants to learn from Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.

The winger has spoken at a Press conference to preview the new season and as well as reflecting on happy memories of his year at Everton, Deulofeu vowed to work hard to get in Luis Enrique’s side.

“I’m very confident in myself. I’ll work hard to make myself fit in the team,” Mundo Deportivo reports the Spain international as saying.

“I had the opportunity to debut in the B team under Luis Enrique. I believe he is a brave Coach with character.

“From Suarez I’ll take hunger, from Neymar skill and Messi dribbling and everything else. They are the three best, you have to learn from them.

“The signing of Suarez is the club’s decision. For my patter, if Luis is here or not, I have to do my job and try to do my best.

“Neymar, Messi and Suarez are there of the best strikers in the world. We must all work to earn our place.

“We all know that Barca is the best. I’ve got to work hard but I hope to earn my place.”
