Cristian Tello believes he has made the right decision in leaving Barcelona for a two-year loan spell at Porto.
The winger’s move was confirmed yesterday and Tello has said he hopes to show what he can do after crossing Iberia.
“I’m very happy to be part of this team. I think it’s the perfect time to show what I can offer,” Marca reports.
“It’s a team at which I can prove myself.”
Tello added that the presence of former Spain Under-21 Coach Julen Lopetegui was also a factor in his decision to make the move.
“I’ve played under Lopetegui with the national team and he has always relied heavily on me,” Tello continued.
“He has always been interested in me and that was a very important step in me coming here.”
