Miroslav Klose has revealed what he said to Mario Gotze when the World Cup-winning scorer replaced him in the 88th minute.
Gotze netted late in extra time to deliver the trophy to Germany, coming on for the tournament’s record goal scorer.
“I said to Mario, ‘I’ve played and now you have to get the goal,’ and he did,” Klose said, according to Mundo Deportivo.
