Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu believes that Luis Suarez will bring ‘a huge winning spirit’ to the club.
The Camp Nou outfit completed the Uruguay international’s transfer on Friday, sealing a switch worth around €81m.
And the club chief has insisted that they will do all they can to ‘reintegrate’ the goalscorer after his biting ban.
“Suarez will add football qualities and a huge winning spirit,” he told reporters.
“We'll help him to reintegrate into the football world.”
Bartomeu then commented on Alexis Sanchez’s move to Arsenal and their other transfer prospects.
“I want to thank Alexis for all he has given to Barca in these three years and wish him all the best for the future.
“We keep on fulfilling the staff's wishes, probably by signing some defenders. End World Cup will revitalise market.”
