Reports in the British Press have said Filipe Luis will complete his transfer from Atletico Madrid to Chelsea.
AS cites claims from England that put the fee for the left-back at £20m [roughly €25m], some €5m below Filipe’s release clause.
Atletico had insisted that if the Brazilian was to leave, Chelsea would have to trigger his release clause, although Filipe has made clear he wants to quit Vicente Calderon.
Guilherme Siqueira has been brought in from Granada for €10m and is seen as a replacement for Filipe, who Chelsea want to replace Ashley Cole.
Cole has joined Roma after his Chelsea contract expired and wasn’t renewed.
