Jonathan Dos Santos has left Barcelona for Villarreal in a move costing the Yellow Submarine €1.5m up front, AS have reported.
Barca will be due another €0.5m if Villarreal make the Champions League after reuniting the midfielder with his brother Gio.
Jonathan Dos Santos will be presented as a Villarreal player later on Thursday and becomes the club’s fourth signing of the summer, after goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo, defender Antonio Rukavina and winger Denis Cheryshev.
