Reports in Spain say Luis Suarez’s transfer from Liverpool to Barcelona will be confirmed in a matter of hours.
Mundo Deportivo claim Barca will pay between €70m and €73m, which is said to be some €20m below the Uruguay international’s release clause.
Suarez has been waiting for confirmation of his switch to Camp Nou since Uruguay were knocked out of the World Cup. He hasn’t travelled back to England, instead remaining in his homeland.
Barca hope to make the deal official today and Suarez will head to Spain once everything is confirmed.
