Kroos: I’ve made my decision

Toni Kroos has confirmed he knows where his future lies but won’t say where while Germany remain in the World Cup amid talk of a move to Real Madrid.

It’s claimed that Kroos has agreed a move to Santiago Bernabeu and the Bayern Munich man told a German publication that he had come to a conclusion regarding his next step.

His Bayern contract ends in 2015 and Suddeutsche Zeitung say Kroos will move to Madrid this summer, while SportBild say the move will take place at the end of Kroos’ contract, according to AS.

Kroos himself told TZ Munich that he knew the reality of the situation but declined to share where he stands.

“I’ve made a decision and can’t say,” Kroos confirmed.

“I read things. It’s not hard to find out. But I’m saying there is nothing done.

“First I want to play the World Cup and when finished my decision will be known. I’ll say it myself. Before then there is nothing.

“There’s one week of the World Cup left and then…we’ll know more.”

Germany play Brazil in the World Cup semi-final on Tuesday and regardless of the result, Kroos’ competition will extend until the final weekend – either in the final or the third place play-off.

The play-off takes place the day before the final and if Germany are competing in the former fixture, it will mean Kroos’ decision is known a day earlier.
