Valencia President Amadeo Salvo has insisted that Jeremy Mathieu will only leave if another club stumps up his release clause.
Barcelona have been heavily linked with the French defender for weeks now, as Luis Enrique looks to bolster their back line.
However, the Che’s chief has claimed that only €20m will have Mathieu leaving Mestalla.
“Mathieu is one of the Valencia captains and we don't have anyone else to cover his position,” he told reporters.
“So only a certain amount will see him [potentially] leave.”
