Atletico Madrid’s interest in signing Chelsea and Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku is said to have cooled off in recent days.
Lukaku was linked with a loan move to the champions after Diego Costa was sold to Chelsea and David Villa left for New York City FC.
But Marca report that Atletico’s interest in the forward has waned and attention is now on Mario Mandzukic, and Rodrigo, Benfica’s former Real Madrid forward.
It’s now thought to be unlikely that Lukaku makes the move to Vicente Calderon for the new season.
