Nacho has signed a six-year contract with Real Madrid, tying the defender to the club until the end of the 2020-21 season.
Marca confirms the new deal and says Nacho is considered by Coach Carlo Ancelotti as valuable cover across the defence, able to fill in at either full-back position or in the centre.
He made 12 League appearances for Madrid last season, starting eight times.
