Lionel Messi has insisted that ‘now another World Cup begins’ as Argentina enter the knockout stages.
The Albicelestes won all three of their group matches, and are preparing to face Switzerland in Sao Paulo this afternoon.
The former Ballon d’Or winner though, has urged his team to forget their previous win and focus on this upcoming match.
“I'm happy that we qualified for the last 16 as group winners, but now another World Cup begins,” he wrote on his official Facebook page.
“We have great desire to achieve something amazing.”
