Brazil midfielder Luiz Gustavo could be on his way to Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.
AS cite reports from El Confidencial that claim Los Blancos have identified the Wolfsburg player as an option to bolster Carlo Ancelotti’s midfield for next season.
It’s said that Gustavo would be a cheaper option than Toni Kroos, who the club have been strongly linked with, although they are very different players.
Gustavo moved to Wolfsburg a year ago, leaving Bayern Munich after the Bavarians completed the signing of Barcelona’s Thiago Alcantara.
