Casemiro has said he wants to stay at Real Madrid and win a place in the starting XI despite interest from Inter.
AS report that the Serie A club want the Brazilian on loan for next season but speaking while on holiday in his homeland, Casemiro has said he will work to impress Carlo Ancelotti.
“I’ll return to Madrid on July 10 to try to earn a starting spot. I’ve learned from the greats,” he said.
Madrid begin pre-season training on July 14 and Casemiro was, the report adds, one of the players to impress most in last summer’s pre-season.
But it didn’t translate to minutes on the pitch as no midfielder was used as seldom as the former Sao Paolo man - even Sami Khedira, who didn’t play between November and May, enjoyed more than twice the playing time of Casemiro.
