Juve up bid for Morata

Juventus have raised their bid for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata to €20m, according to reports in Italy.

AS cite La Gazzetta dello Sport as saying Morata remains the top priority of the Serie A champions, although he is also wanted by Arsenal and Wolfsburg.

Madrid haven’t softened in their insistence that a Morata transfer contains a clause that allows them to re-sign the cantera product, in the manner of Dani Carvajal’s move to Bayer Leverkusen and subsequent return.

Morata is said to want to go to Juve and if that is what happens, Madrid will move for a striker to cover their options in case of injury or poor form.
