Real Sociedad’s France international Antoine Griezmann has given his thoughts on Claudio Bravo’s move to Barcelona
The midfielder also touched on his future, Carlos Vela’s new deal and spoke of his happiness at Les Bleus’ World Cup so far, according to Mundo Deportivo.
“We’re very pleased with how everything has gone in the group stage and for the good atmosphere that exists in the national team,” Griezmann said.
“Our draw is better [in the next round] but you never know. France are playing well and we’re very confident in our chances.”
Griezmann then turned to Bravo’s move to Barca, which was confirmed yesterday by both La Blaugrana and La Real.
“Bravo is my friend and we’ve been in contact. He informed me by text message about how everything was going. I’m happy for him and his family. He’s a great guy and deserves everything.
“Barca have signed a great goalkeeper in Bravo. Really, he’s a very complete goalkeeper and he is perfect for Barca.
“He’s very good with his feet and I laugh at those who say otherwise. You should see how he plays in training.
“He’s very brave coming out, covers a lot of space and is terribly secure between the posts.
“In addition, as discussed before playing Spain and Holland, he is very good with the high balls.”
