Del Bosque critical of Cesc training

Cesc Fabregas was told by Vicente Del Bosque to hand his bib over as the Coach felt the Chelsea man wasn’t working hard enough in training.

AS reports that Del Bosque was critical of Cesc’s attitude during yesterday’s session, feeling Fabregas wasn’t working with the necessary intensity or the right body language, and Xabi Alonso took the bib instead.

Cesc is said to feel Del Bosque hasn’t given him a fair chance at the World Cup as he has gone from the starting XI in past games to the third substitute introduced against the Netherlands, and didn’t even get on to the pitch against Chile.

But the incident isn’t though to be serious enough to push Cesc out of the team to play Australia tomorrow in Spain’s last World Cup game.

It came before the Spain players, coaches and staff attended a meal hosted by the head of the RFEF, Angel Villar.
