RFEF to reject Del Bosque resignation

Vicente del Bosque will not be allowed to leave his position as Spain Coach, it has been claimed in the Spanish Press.

The tactician has been asked constantly since La Roja’s exit from this summer’s World Cup whether he would step down, and has thus far refused to comment.

However, in a Press conference on Friday, the 63-year-old did admit that if he was ‘becoming a nuisance’ he would step aside.

Marca report though, that the Spanish Football Federation’s secretary general Jorge Perez has already spoken with Del Bosque, and made it clear that any resignation attempt would be firmly rejected.

RFEF are desperate to keep hold of the former Real Madrid man, and will refuse to accept any resignation offer, as he has a contract for another two years.

The Federation want Del Bosque to lead them to Euro 2016, and will only then assess their options.
