Atletico Madrid starlet Oliver Torres will spend next season on loan at Porto, according to reports in Spain.
Marca claim the 19-year-old will play a year under former Spain Under-21 Coach Julen Lopetegui, who will be in charge next season and specifically asked for the signing of Oliver.
A few final details need to be confirmed between Porto and Oliver, the report says, with Atletico feeling the competition for places at the Portuguese giants will sharpen up the midfielder’s game.
There won’t be an option to allow Porto to buy the player as Atletico are counting on him for the future and his contract runs until 2018.
He should also be able to play in the Champions League, should Porto come through their qualifying game.
Oliver played nine games for Villarreal last season after moving to El Madrigal for the second half of the campaign.
