Sevilla are expected to complete the signing of Almeria midfielder Aleix Vidal, according to Marca.
Vidal is said to have undergone a medical this morning and, all being well, will complete a €3m move to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
Vidal has said that moving to Los Rojiblancos will be one of the greatest moments of his life, not just his career.
“I’ll be a father in November and although the girl is a little ahead on the list, the call from Sevilla is the best thing that has happened to me,” he said.
“My first choice has always been Sevilla. I’ve been playing for many years and I like a lot of Sevilla, the Coach, the way they play…I’m coming.”
Vidal has been at Almeria since 2011, scoring 17 goals in 120 games.
