Alves sets PSG deadline

Dani Alves wants his prospective Paris Saint-Germain future to be sorted before the end of next week, it has been claimed.

The Barcelona defender has been heavily linked with a switch to the Ligue 1 champions for several months now.

But Catalan daily Sport have insisted that the Brazil international is desperate to get his move done before next weekend, so he can fully concentrate on the World Cup.

PSG have offered €8m for the 31-year-old, whereas the Blaugrana are holding out for €15m.

The paper believes that a deal could be struck for around €12m, but Alves is so concerned about the pace of negotiations, that he has set a deadline of next Sunday.

If no deal has been done by then, Sport reveal that the former Sevilla man will reject Laurent Blanc’s men and look at other options.
