Sevilla have identified former Valencia midfielder Mehmet Topal as the player to replace Barcelona-bound Ivan Rakitic.
Sport claims Unai Emery wants the Fenerbahce man when Rakitic completes his move to Camp Nou, with €7m offered for the Turkey international, although it may not be enough.
Emery worked with Topal during their time at Valencia and has spoken highly of the 28-year-old, and said he left Los Che because of an abundance of players in his position.
Topal made 59 appearances in two seasons with Valencia, having joined the club from Galatasaray.
Rakitic is widely expected to be a Barca player for next season.
