Carlos Vela has told Real Sociedad he wants to leave and accept an offer from Atletico Madrid, according to reports in Spain.
Marca claim that Vela has received an ‘irresistible’ offer from the champions and wants to accept. La Real would receive €10m for the Mexican.
But the transfer may not be so straight forward as Vela’s former club, Arsenal, can re-sign the forward for €4m, as per an agreement in the deal that took him to Anoeta.
Barcelona and Real Madrid are also said to be considering Vela for next season but he is said to be one of Atleti’s main targets for the summer.
