UEFA have ordered Real Madrid to close part of Santiago Bernabeu for their next Champions League game as punishment for their fans’ racist behaviour.
The governing body’s official website has confirmed that sections 120 and 122 will be shut for Madrid’s next home match under the auspices of UEFA.
Madrid have been sanctioned for incidents during the Champions League semi-final win over Bayern Munich in April. A ‘No to Racism’ banner will be displayed over the empty seats.
