Atletico Madrid have completed the signing of San Lorenzo forward Angel Correa, the club has confirmed.
A statement on Atletico’s official website says the 19-year-old will join pending a medical, while Marca report Correa has cost the League winners €7.5m and has signed a five-year contract.
Marca add that it is possible Correa will be loaned to another club to gain experience of La Liga, but could also be incorporated into Diego Simeone’s squad for next season.
He won’t join up with Los Colchoneros until San Lorenzo have finished their involvement in the Copa Libertadores.
