Vicente Del Bosque has praised Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid for their captivating Champions League final encounter.
Madrid eventually won the match 4-1 after extra-time and the Spain Coach paid tribute to his old club and the beaten League champions.
“Congratulations to the two teams who played yesterday in the Champions League, Real and Atletico, for their effort,” AS reports Del Bosque as saying.
“Both teams have had a great season.
“It was an exciting game, balanced in moments, and the extra-time was very difficult for Atletico.
“Madrid took full advantage of the situation.
“The best thing is that there were no complicated episodes between players that I know.”
