Atletico Madrid’s Diego Costa is a major doubt for next Saturday’s Champions League final against Real Madrid, it is reported.
The 25-year-old had to be replaced in the 13th minute of his side’s title clinching draw against Barcelona yesterday with a hamstring problem.
He was reduced to tears as he sat in the dugout following the injury, a sign that he is fearing the worst although nothing has been officially confirmed.
Costa’s teammate Arda Turan is also a concern for the match in Lisbon after he too picked up a knock at Camp Nou. He was replaced by Raul Garcia in the 19th minute.
