Line-ups: Madrid-Espanyol

As expected, Cristiano Ronaldo starts for Real Madrid as they play their last League game of the season at home to Espanyol.

The Ballon d’Or winner hasn’t featured since coming off after 10 minutes against Real Valladolid two weeks ago.

But the Portugal international will take his place in the XI this afternoon as Los Blancos look to end the season on a winning note, before heading off to Lisbon next weekend for the Champions League final.

He starts up front alongside Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema, whilst Sami Khedira makes his second start after returning from knee surgery.

At the back, Pepe is still out injured, so Raphael Varane plays, whilst Iker Casillas starts on his second League match of the campaign.

Javier Aguirre meanwhile, is thought to be taking charge of his last match for the Periquitos, and has gone with a 4-5-1 formation, led by Sergio Garcia.
