The idea of a Real Madrid theme park is off the ground, with President Florentino Perez proposing the idea to an American company.
Marca report that the Blancos chief has been wanting to do the project ever since he was put in charge back in 2009.
And the paper claims that he travelled to Valdebebas with an unnamed company on Thursday to try and finalise plans for a theme park.
Now that the deal is done to upgrade Santiago Bernabeu, Perez will be turning his attention to this project, which will include rides and an area where fans can interact with players.
“The sports complex must be converted into a destination for all children and adults from all over the world that love this sport,” he is reported as saying by the sports daily.
