Neymar: I’ll end my career in Brazil

Neymar has admitted that he won’t end his career at Barcelona, as he longs for a switch back to Brazil.

The 22-year-old joined the Blaugrana from Santos last summer, but has been somewhat disappointing in his first campaign, scoring 15 goals in 40 appearances.

And the young striker has insisted that he will return to his home country one day.

“The only thing that is certain is that I will end my career at Santos,” he told reporters.

“It is something to think about whether I would be willing to play for another team in Brazil before that.

“It wouldn't be a problem to sit down and hear an offer. The club can be from Sao Paulo, from Rio de Janeiro or from any other state of Brazil.”

The Selecao international then stressed the reasons why he left South America and opted for Camp Nou.

“It wasn't just about the money, that's not why I left. I wanted to live a dream, play other competitions, play the Champions League, grow, evolve, learn another language, that's what motivated me to come to the European continent.”
