Camacho: Atleti match special

Malaga midfielder Ignacio Camacho is looking forward to his side’s match against title chasing Atletico Madrid tomorrow.

Los Boquerones travel to the Vicente Calderon for what is a crucial match for their opponents and the 24-year-old, formerly of the Rojiblancos, anticipates a good match between the teams.

“The match against Atletico will be special for me,” Camacho told reporters. “We know what an important match it is, there are still two matches left to play and we are aware of the difficulties we face. They are playing for the League.

“It’s going to be a very good match. Atletico have two ways of playing – one with Diego Costa and one without him.

“They can play offensively with everyone forward and keep possession, but they can also play on the counter and do a lot of damage that way.

“We need to do our work and make it difficult for them.”

The player was then asked about the future of Malaga Coach Bernd Schuster.

“If the club decide that he should continue, the players will need to work as professionals.”
