Granada Coach Lucas Alcaraz conceded that Monday night’s 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad could be ‘fundamental’.
Carlos Vela scored late for La Real to give the Basque side the lead, but Odion Ighalo netted with the last kick of the game to ensure a share of the spoils – leaving El Grana on 38 points.
“A point could be fundamental for us,” he told a Press conference.
“We overcame the blow of conceding late on, and our heads could have gone down at that point.
“But with faith and determination, we got back into the match, and earned a point that I thought was completely earned.”
