Pizzi believes in Valencia comeback

Juan Antonio Pizzi is sure Valencia can come back from 2-0 down against Sevilla in the Europa League semi-final.

Los Che are trailing from the first-leg but with the return taking place tonight at Mestalla, Pizzi has faith in his players to overturn the deficit as they have done it before, against Basel in the prior round.

“The only thing that interests me is that the tie ends with a difference that allows me to be in Turin on May 14,” Marca reports Pizzi telling reporters at a pre-match Press conference.

“You have to play the game and I believe that we can when looking at the options. You realise the comeback is less than that of Basel.

“The way to come back is patience, perseverance, playing with intensity to the limit. Calmness and patience. The goals can come quickly.

“We might need to score four goals. Ideally not, but it we concede a goal we must be prepared to score four, and if we concede two then we need to score five.”
