David Luiz: Chelsea have a plan

David Luiz has revealed that Chelsea ‘have a plan’ to beat Atletico Madrid this evening.

The west London outfit go to Vicente Calderon tonight looking for a win in their Champions League semi-final first leg.

And the Brazilian defender has insisted that his men have a gameplan, but won’t divulge how they’re going to go about beating Diego Simeone’s side.

“We’re very happy because tomorrow we have a very important Champions League game” he told a Press conference.

“We’re ready to put in a good game. We have a plan but if the boss doesn’t want to talk about it, then it’s best if I don’t either.

“We have a great team and that’s why we are in the semi-finals. We’re hoping that we have the same luck we had a few years ago [against Barcelona].

“I think we’re in for a great game. It’s a dream to be able to play games like this, a Champions League semi-final and we are very privileged. We’re ready for it.”

The former Benfica man then went on to comment on Diego Costa, who has described as their ‘dangerman’.

“Diego is a very good player, a good friend but tomorrow isn’t about Diego Costa versus Chelsea – it’s about Atlético versus Chelsea.

“Costa wants to win, the same as I do. We’ll be doing all we can to achieve it.”
