Manchester City chief Sheik Mansour has met with Sergio Aguero in order to keep him at the club.
The Argentine striker has been consistently linked with a switch to Real Madrid, with reports indicating that sunnier climes and a Spanish-speaking environment would be preferential to the goalscorer.
However, the Citizens’ leader has held talks with the former Atletico Madrid in a bid to keep him at the Etihad Stadium, according to the Daily Mail.
Despite picking up a series of niggling injuries this term, Aguero has still managed 25 goals, and could be fit again to fire City to the title this term.
Carlo Ancelotti’s are still said to be extremely interested in the striker though, and could well table an offer in the summer.
