Benzema wants PSG semi

Karim Benzema has admitted that he wants to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semi-finals.

Real Madrid play Borussia Dortmund this evening in the last eight, going into the match holding a 3-0 advantage.

And should they overcome their German rivals, the striker has claimed that he would like to face Laurent Blanc’s men.

“I want to play PSG. Why? Because they're a French team," he told uefa.com.

The former Lyon man then commented on how well he thinks his side are playing this season.

“We made the semis last year, as we did in the two seasons before that. We've got to the semi-finals for three straight seasons.

“We're doing great this season, we still have a few games to play before we reach the final, but we're getting closer.”

The Bleus international concluded by praising fellow forwards Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.

“They're amazing players. I fit in well with them both on and off the pitch. It's easy to play alongside players like them. They're strong, quick and very technical.”
