Luis Enrique was disappointed with Celta Vigo’s 3-0 loss to Rayo Vallecano, but claimed that the result may have been slightly exaggerated.
An Alberto Bueno double and a solitary strike from Ruben Rochina gave the Franjirrojos all three points.
But the Celestes Coach insisted that the scoreline was not a reflection of the performance.
“The result may be a bit of overkill,” he told a Press conference. “From what I’ve seen, maybe it wasn’t that kind of defeat.
“But this sport rewards effectiveness and Rayo are spectacular when going forward.
“The game started as expected, with a lot of intensity. They play with a lot of pace and vigour, and when they scored it was difficult for us to come back.”
