Juan Antonio Pizzi has warned his Valencia players of being more focused on the Europa League than Getafe.
Los Che meet El Geta on Sunday and play Basel in Switzerland in the first-leg of their quarter-final on Thursday.
The Coach told his pre-match Press conference that the players need to strike a balance between the two competitions.
“Europe generates certain expectations but my idea is to be balanced in some way,” Pizzi said.
“We haven’t gotten to that point through the League but it strengthens us for the Europa League.
“The Europa League is complicated because the tie is an illusion that can vanish in no time.
“Our performances have to be supported by a solid, stable and firm foundation and we need it to compete at the highest level in both competitions."
